The Zentangle Challenge
Each week Diane & Carolien’s Weekly Zentangle Challenge puts out a challenge for folks to make their own representation of Diane & Carolien’s idea. This week is Challenge #31, the Alphabet challenge of S-F-T. Use tangles starting with the letters S, F & T in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your S, F & T. Next week are moving to U-K-H if you want to think ahead of time.
Salo : shown in the center. Went “totally” wrong with this one. I did not realize until almost at the end that the circles are supposed to get bigger. So that you can connect the circles with a line, without having circles left over without a line. Oops. So I added some extra lines in the center. I actually kinda like it being a little quirky. So fully embracing the happy accident 😀
Fleavy : this tangle has been on my ‘to try’ list for a while. I like the organic look and how easy it is to draw.
Tink : Love tink, fun and random as you can see on the outside.
I usually go for a bit darker tangles, very structured (grid based), but I really like the more organic and airy look of this drawing. Maybe a new direction to explore for a while?
