Each week Diane and I put out a challenge for folks to make their representation of our idea. This week is the Weekly Challenge #22: Tangle with U-J-B. So here is what we say this week “This week is Challenge #22, the Alphabet challenge of UJB. Use tangles starting with the letters UJB in your drawing. It’s your choice to only use patterns with these letters or to add some others as well. Happy Tangling!! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your U, J & B.” So here is my UJB Zentangle Challenge Entry.
Tangles used for UJB Zentangle Challenge:
Betweed – Inspired by a image in the Zentangle Newsletter I filled the triangle in the center with Betweed. The star shape on top came out a bit wonky though.
Jonqal – I like how Jonqal (waving folded shape behind the triangle) easily gives a 3d effect. Easy to draw with high impact. Great!
Upholstered – I wanted to keep this drawing a little ‘simple’ so I choose an easy, not too busy, background. Love the cute little dots and stripes.
All that’s left is the colored version 🙂
